Connor McLaughlin - Digital Wealth Partners

Connor McLaughlin is a financial advisor at Digital Wealth Partners in Connecticut who brings an unusual path to the industry. Before moving into finance, he worked as an engineer in the surgical robotics division of a Fortune 500 company. That technical background shaped how he thinks about complex systems and emerging technologies, particularly in the cryptocurrency space where he spent years doing education work.

He holds a Series 65 license and graduated from UConn. For over eight years, Connor has invested personally in stocks and cryptocurrency markets. That experience taught him to look closely at blockchain infrastructure and understand what separates projects with staying power from those that won’t last.

His motivation for entering financial services came from seeing how challenging it can be for people to feel secure when allocating to cryptocurrency on their own. The asset class has a history of confusing retail investors, and Connor wanted to help bridge that gap. He works with clients ranging from those who have never heard of cryptocurrency to people who have been in the space for a decade.

Outside of work, he follows the Steelers closely, plays golf when time allows, and takes on home renovation projects.
